Fifty Four 04:42
FIFTY FOUR Take my breath away Keep me occupied I've already forgotten What I am leaving behind Deep in solitude Now I understand What you've failed to Read in between the lines Life is just a cage We need to escape Take it apart to Give us something to believe in Consumed by the aimless Give titles to the nameless All the effort is painless In the absence of reason Substituting for a lack of stimulation Seeking out the offspring of my mind Beneath consciousness there’s desperation That fits nicely into my design When the pressure builds And shreds the ire Eroding into Something we all admire Suspended in the dark The silent aether Cascading from a spark Into the object we desire Control is an illusion We fight and we are losing What good are memories When they begin to decay It's here I can feel it It’s real I have seen it Abused but I need it Call me and I will obey

Made of flesh consumed by the same Ear to the ground all senses burning Can you wear the lion’s face Fueled by the blood of the lamb Hear that wild call Smoke them out Rise or fall Become what you fear Running down a faceless beast Hesitate and lose it all Look through the hunter’s eyes Hold firm with a hostile hand The secret is that I’m already lost
4.
We Are Wrong 05:16
I've been working hard But not for long Everything is clearer With the right head on A simple circle Becomes the sun Everything it touches Carries on It's as easy as it seems Is what you're going to tell me Blinded by ignorance Is how I want to live Everything I see I can't forget Even if it's something That hasn't happened yet Every passing day There's a moment to explore Break down the meaning Until it means no more And the moments became too many Time keeps passing on One day we understand The next day we are wrong

Crave what you hate A junkie for displeasure Go to where the road bends It’s so familiar Close to the edge Fringing on the terrible Dine on all the strange you find Eat your fill Couldn’t see the splendor from the underground There was no will to satisfy Pull me out of the loss and the ruin Those broken pieces will build our castle in the sky Rein in the chaos It’s what the people want No sudden movements Just wander among the stones Stand in the river Watch the madness float away Breathe deep the freedom as you Let it go

Dark Spiral 05:06
The night sky is a canvas for my dreams A chance to change my perspective Where the whole world spins backwards And I'm not part of it Well I'm not part of it I just want to know what it's like To live without the restriction Bend in between what is real and imagined And never make a distinction Why have you brought me here? Through cosmic undertow A witness to the emptiness To prove that I'm alone Following the lines that I've traced in reverse I don't recall the beginning The darkness is so misleading And I'm lost How does it feel to be spinning On a tangible wave of magnificence As an ignorant drone, completely unaware And obsessed with your own insignificance

Ravenman 06:48
I am a messenger, hear my pain Through the veil of time Witness to creation The first to be aware I am no servant to the Ponderings of fools Cry beyond the stones and clouds Leave me with your fading sound I know the nightmares, what they mean What you should fear The shadows in your head The violence in your hand Be not a patron to The failures of the damned When you scream at the night Do you hear my reply? Let your voice be heard So I may twist your words Bitter tongue and broken verse Flying on an endless search Faded by an ashen shroud Listen for the echo now
8.
The River 05:42
Charging down the way our heroes go Head-long into darkness, the unknown Always ascending just to fall so low Left to wander for the common soul The earth is parting and the vultures fly Statues crumble while the pharaohs die What glory lies beyond the river’s flow? We’re unaware how far this shadow goes Spoils for a sordid end Held so passive by a jaded hand Enfeebled by both sword and pen Retreat along the paths of weary men Where does the river flow?

about

A controlled crash of guitars held together by punishing bass lines, guided by a tsunami of drums. Atop the sonic chaos resonates a voice heavy with themes of the human experience, self-discovery and the vastness of the Universe. It is a collection of songs with the manners of a junkyard dog.
